Purpose of This Statement
This statement explains how Seed & Scale HR processes personal data received from clients during the delivery of HR consultancy and related services. It supplements the general Privacy Policy available on this website.
Data Controller and Processor Roles
When providing HR consultancy services, Seed & Scale HR acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the client, who remains the Data Controller for their employee and business data.

As a Data Processor, I will only handle data according to the client’s written or verbal instructions and solely for the purposes of providing the agreed HR services.
Types of Data Processed
Depending on the scope of the engagement, the following personal data may be processed:

Employment information (e.g. start date, job role, salary band, performance data)

Case-related documentation (e.g. grievance, disciplinary or performance records)

Recruitment or onboarding data

Sensitive or special category data (such as health, diversity, or disciplinary information) will only be processed where strictly necessary for the service and with appropriate safeguards in place.

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. While I strive to keep content accurate and up to date, Seed & Scale HR makes no warranties or representations about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information presented.
Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
How Data is Handled and Stored
Personal data provided by clients will be retained only for as long as necessary to complete the contracted services or to meet legal and professional obligations.
Once no longer required, data will be securely deleted or returned to the client upon request.
Data Sharing
Seed & Scale HR does not share client or employee data with any third party unless:

The client explicitly instructs me to do so.

If any external partners or systems are used (for example, payroll or HRIS vendors), I ensure that these providers are GDPR-compliant and maintain suitable data protection measures.
Client Responsibilities
Clients remain responsible for ensuring that any personal data shared with Seed & Scale HR:

Has been collected lawfully,

Is accurate and up to date, and

That affected individuals (e.g., employees) are aware their data may be shared with an external HR consultant.
